Ports are places where you board/disembark from boats in order to travel from continent to continent. Ships leave at designated times on specific routes. There is a sign at each port that will show the schedule using the command "read sign". The game time of day (as opposed to DSL system time) can be seen using the "time" command.
Syntax:
Note: The abandon command allows you to leave the boat when it is not docked. However, be careful about using this while in the middle of the ocean!
